Step into a sanctuary of midweek calm, connection, and renewal at The Monastery Manchester.

Wellness Wednesdays is your dedicated space for whole-person wellbeing, offering a vibrant mix of therapies, movement, nourishment, and community in the peaceful surrounds of our heritage site. Whether you seek stillness, strength, or support, our programme is designed to help you reset and reconnect with yourself.

What’s On Each Week?
Join us every Wednesday for a variety of wellness experiences designed to nourish body, mind, and spirit:

  • Yoga & Mindful Movement – Ground yourself with practices that calm the nervous system and cultivate balance. Suitable for all levels.

  • Massage & Relaxation Therapies – Enjoy a range of treatments from expert therapists to release tension and restore energy.

  • Healthy Food – Our wholesome café offerings nourish you from the inside out, with meals crafted for taste, vitality and wellbeing.

  • Sound Journeys – Deeply meditative sound experiences to promote emotional release and inner calm.

  • Creative Conversations – Insightful, heart-led discussions that explore wellbeing themes and encourage authentic connection.
     

NEW THIS SEASON – Empowering Movement Sessions

We’re thrilled to introduce a range of guided movement classes, created to support strength, flexibility, energy and flow:

  • Martial Fit Fusion

  • A martial arts-inspired fitness class blending Taekwondo techniques with bodyweight exercises. These dynamic full-body sequences are designed to boost strength, agility, endurance, and cardiovascular fitness, leaving you feeling empowered and re-energised.

  • Strength & Mobility

  • A low-impact, functional workout combining stretching, targeted strength training, and mobility exercises. Ideal for identifying and addressing areas of imbalance while supporting joint health and core strength.

  • Kinisi Flow

  • A gentle, low-intensity class using mindful, flow-based movement to enhance muscle tone, connective tissue strength, and flexibility. A perfect way to move with awareness and leave feeling refreshed and grounded.
